The story began in 2013 when singer Devin “De Rico” Copeland and writer Mareio Overton filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Justin Bieber and his mentor Usher claiming the artists stole the beat, title and time signature for Bieber’s hit song “Somebody To Love,” according to the Rolling Stone.
